Yesterday I found a gorgeous Brunschwig & Fils fabric (I mean, aren’t they ALL?) that would be perfect for draperies in Manon’s room. And then I realized draperies are expensive and came to the conclusion that it would make an amazing throw pillow. Enjoy the blinding sunlight streaming through your room at 6:00 AM, my dear, because that tiny pillow is four-inches of perfection.

In the spirit of frugality, I vowed that if I couldn’t find the right luminary to bestow upon this table, it would remain naked. Forever. But last week, I was wandering around Villeneuve-les-Avignon and stumbled upon a Girandole lamp that I just had to have. It’s so feminine, a tad naughty, and RELAX BOYS, the only thing under that skirt is a lightbulb.

Oh, and those walls? I instructed Pepito that I wanted a “frolicking cherubs in a snow storm” feel, and he pulled it of. With the exception of the pool house, he always does.

xxx, M.

I think I’ve spent more on upholstering furniture than I spent on college. Shudder.
